The EDUCAUSE annual conference is taking place this week in Denver, Colorado, bringing together professionals and technology providers to elevate technology in higher education. With over 300 sessions and 700 presenters, EDUCAUSE is a huge event that gathers industry leaders to share ideas, discover solutions, and network. The conference is hosting notable speakers like Michele Norris, former NPR Host and founding Director of The Race Card Project as well as Alexis Ohanian, Co-Founder of Reddit and Initialized Capital. If you aren’t able to attend in person, here is a look at what you missed.

One of my favorite sessions. Love the information on integrative CIO. Can’t wait to work with higher education to focus on this issue #EDU18 #poweredbypassion #ellucianinc pic.twitter.com/hS3ROsHdKS

As mentioned earlier, accessibility is really important to us at #D2L. We’re really enjoying ‘Making your digital campus accessible to people with disabilities’ with @Yale’s @ejliv and Lisa Sawin! #edu18 #educause18 pic.twitter.com/6D5lFs0Ms1

Not only is EDUCAUSE a wonderful place to learn and network, it’s a great place to unwind! With cozy networking bubbles and massages waiting after a long day, attendees don’t want to leave. Some event attendees even went on “Braindates” with their peers to gain insider knowledge.

Most importantly, EDUCAUSE brings together the greatest minds in technology that help shape the future of higher education. Cloud, cybersecurity, and collaboration are big topics this year. NetApp and Bro Network Security are just a few industry names in attendance.

Some great #highered #cloud collaborations are happening across the research and education community. Great tips thanks to George Loftus during #EDU18 on ways you can get involved in those conversations @InCommonUS @educause pic.twitter.com/Kod5C28Nj3
