ISTE: The Epicenter of Edtech

by Jackie Davis

The ISTE, International Society for Technology in Education, conference titled The Epicenter of Edtech, came to a close yesterday. The four-day conference was packed with inspirational speakers, innovative educators, and cutting edge educational technology on display.

Keynote speakers included Nadia Lopez, educational leader and school founder, as well as Michael Cohen, educator and creativity investigator, who travels in search of educators to inspire.

Edtech was displayed throughout the conference to inspire, like Keyboarding Without Tears, a K-5 computer program that teaches typing and computer skills.

Most importantly, ISTE offered new ideas, technologies, and teaching strategies that can positively impact this generation of learners.
